This new model is powered by converting energy obtained from sunlight and other light sources into electrical energy, so there is no need to replace batteries. Charging is achieved through the three subdials; a 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock, a 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock, and a small second subdial at 9 o’clock. The watch also features uni-directional rotating bezel while an Arabic numeral, inspired by the first Orient Mako model, adorns the 12 o’clock position. With a sapphire crystal and generous 200m water resistance, it is perfectly suited for a range of environments.
